Meet Our Founder
Stefan, the craftsman
behind Timber Plates
My name is Stefan Whyte and I've been an electrician since 2007. I have always been fond of timber as a medium, but have been uninspired by the lack of variety of materials for switches and outlets in Australia. I decided to take it upon myself to come up with a solution that is natural and aesthetically pleasing.

I recently ordered a timber switch plate, and I'm beyond impressed! The craftsmanship is exceptional – the wood finish is smooth, stylish, and adds a natural touch to my home decor. The switch plate fits perfectly and feels very durable. The installation was straightforward, and the design truly elevates the space. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to add a bit of warmth and elegance to their interiors. Fantastic quality and great customer service! Will definitely be a returning customer.

If you are even remotely considering using these products, I highly recommend them, and the service provided.
